Leviticus 4:28 meaning and explanation

Leviticus 4:28, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
The LORD is speaking to Moses about an ordinary Israelite, one of the common people, who sins unintentionally against God's commands. The chapter grades the offering by the offender's standing: a bull for the anointed priest, a bull for the whole assembly, a male goat for a leader, and here a female goat or lamb for the ordinary person.
