Luke 13:1 meaning and explanation
At that time some of those present told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices.
Luke 13:1, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Some people in the crowd report a shocking event to Jesus: Pilate, the Roman governor, had killed some Galileans while they were offering sacrifices, so their blood mingled with the blood of the offerings. The story is otherwise unrecorded, but it fits what is known of Pilate's harsh rule.
