Luke 8:17 meaning and explanation
For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be made known and brought to light.
Luke 8:17, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Jesus has just told the parable of the sower and urged the crowd, "He who has ears to hear, let him hear." He then tells the disciples that the knowledge of the kingdom's mysteries has been given to them, and adds this saying about hidden things being disclosed. In context, the hidden things are the truths of the kingdom now planted quietly in hearts and spoken in parables; the revealing comes when the word bears fruit and when God finally judges and makes all things plain.
