Then the woman, seeing that she could not escape notice, came trembling and fell down before Him. In the presence of all the people, she explained why she had touched Him and how she had immediately been healed.

The woman had suffered from bleeding for twelve years, which under the law of Moses made her ritually unclean and anyone she touched unclean (Leviticus 15). She approached Jesus secretly, touching only the fringe of his cloak, but Jesus stopped and asked who had touched him.
