Jesus asks this question at Caesarea Philippi, a region of pagan shrines, after the disciples report the crowd's guesses: John the Baptist, Elijah, Jeremiah or one of the prophets. The first question was general, but this one is personal and pointed, addressed to the men who have traveled with Him.
