Matthew 18:19 meaning and explanation
Again, I tell you truly that if two of you on the earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by My Father in heaven.
Matthew 18:19, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Jesus is speaking to his disciples in the middle of teaching about life together in the community of faith. The verse follows his instructions on confronting a brother who sins and on binding and loosing, so the agreement he describes is not a general guarantee but a promise to those seeking God's will together.
