Matthew 26:30 meaning and explanation
And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.
Matthew 26:30, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
The Passover meal has just ended, and Jesus and the twelve sing a hymn together before leaving the upper room. This hymn was likely the Hallel, Psalms 113 to 118, sung at Passover, so Jesus may have sung words about the stone the builders rejected and about God's steadfast love.
