Matthew 7:15 meaning and explanation
Beware of false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
Matthew 7:15, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Jesus is speaking to his disciples and the crowds in the Sermon on the Mount, warning that not everyone who claims to speak for God is genuine. A wolf in sheep's clothing looks harmless until it strikes, so the danger is hidden.
