Nehemiah 9:25 meaning and explanation

Nehemiah 9:25, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
This verse comes from the prayer the Levites lead in Nehemiah 9, where the returned exiles confess Israel's history before God. They recall the conquest of Canaan: the people took fortified cities and fertile land, along with houses already stocked, wells already dug, and vineyards and olive groves they had not planted.
