Numbers 1:33, Berean Standard Bible

Explanation preview

This verse falls within the census the LORD commanded Moses at Sinai, one year after the exodus, to count men twenty and older fit for military service. Ephraim was one of the two tribes descended from Joseph, and its registration here follows the pattern used for every tribe: ancestry recorded by clan and family, names counted one by one.
