Numbers 11:22 meaning and explanation
If all our flocks and herds were slaughtered for them, would they have enough? Or if all the fish in the sea were caught for them, would they have enough?”
Numbers 11:22, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Moses is speaking to God in the wilderness, right after the people have wept for meat and God has promised them a month of it. Moses does the arithmetic out loud: even if every flock and herd were slaughtered and every fish in the sea caught, it could not feed this many people.
