Numbers 16:15 meaning and explanation
Then Moses became very angry and said to the LORD, “Do not regard their offering. I have not taken one donkey from them or mistreated a single one of them.”
Numbers 16:15, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Moses has just been accused by Korah and his followers of exalting himself over Israel, and Dathan and Abiram have refused his summons, charging that he led them out of Egypt to die in the wilderness. Here Moses, angry and stung by the false charge, appeals directly to God, asking him not to accept their grain offering, the minchah, and defending his own record: he has taken nothing from them, not even a single donkey, and has wronged no one.
