The LORD speaks these words to Moses and Aaron after the earth has swallowed Korah's company and fire has consumed the 250 men offering incense. When the whole congregation then accuses Moses and Aaron of killing the LORD's people, God's glory appears and he commands the two leaders to step away so he may consume the people in an instant.
