Numbers 16:49, Berean Standard Bible

Explanation preview

This verse closes the account of Korah's rebellion, in which Korah, Dathan, Abiram and 250 leaders challenged Moses and Aaron's authority and were destroyed. When the congregation then grumbled that Moses had killed the Lord's people, a plague broke out, and Aaron ran with incense to make atonement, standing between the living and the dead.
