Numbers 18:14 meaning and explanation
Every devoted thing in Israel belongs to you.
Numbers 18:14, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
The LORD is speaking to Aaron and his sons, setting out what the priests receive now that the tithes and offerings of Israel support them instead of land. A devoted thing translates the Hebrew cherem, something set apart wholly for God, often by a vow, and so withdrawn from ordinary use.
