Numbers 26:63, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
This verse closes the second census in Numbers, taken by Moses and Eleazar on the plains of Moab, east of the Jordan across from Jericho, as Israel prepared to enter Canaan. The setting matters: the first census at Sinai counted the generation that left Egypt, and the verses that follow note that none of them survived the wilderness except Caleb and Joshua.
