Numbers 28:8 meaning and explanation
And offer the second lamb at twilight, with the same grain offering and drink offering as in the morning. It is an offering made by fire, a pleasing aroma to the LORD.
Numbers 28:8, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
The LORD is speaking to Moses on the plains of Moab, instructing Israel about the daily offerings they will keep once settled in the land. Verse 8 completes the tamid, the regular burnt offering: the second year-old lamb is sacrificed at twilight, matching the morning lamb exactly, with the same grain offering of fine flour and oil and the same drink offering poured out.
