Numbers 5:4 meaning and explanation
So the Israelites did this, sending such people outside the camp. They did just as the LORD had instructed Moses.

The LORD had just told Moses that anyone with a skin disease, a bodily discharge, or contact with a dead body must stay outside Israel's camp, because the LORD himself dwelt among the people (verses 2 and 3). Verse 4 reports that the Israelites obeyed at once.
