Numbers 7:23, Berean Standard Bible

Explanation preview

This verse closes the second day of the twelve day dedication of the altar, when Nethanel son of Zuar, leader of the tribe of Issachar, brought his offering. The peace offering, from the Hebrew shelamim, was a shared meal expressing fellowship and thanksgiving, and its larger animal count sets it apart from the burnt and sin offerings listed just before.
