Proverbs 6:10 meaning and explanation
A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest,
Proverbs 6:10, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
These words come from a father's instruction to his son, warning against the laziness pictured in the previous verses. The slacker says a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands, and the repeated word "little" exposes the excuse: small indulgences feel harmless, yet they add up.
