Psalms 102:20, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Psalm 102 is the prayer of an afflicted person pouring out lament before the LORD, and in verses 19 to 22 the view widens from personal pain to God's concern for all the oppressed. The LORD looks down from His sanctuary, and this verse states the purpose of that gaze: to hear a prisoner's groaning and to release those condemned to death.
