Psalms 109:29 meaning and explanation
May my accusers be clothed with disgrace; may they wear their shame like a robe.
Psalms 109:29, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
In this psalm David, falsely accused and repaid evil for good, pours out his grief and asks God to judge his enemies. Here he pictures that judgment as clothing: those who slandered him will be dressed in disgrace and shame, just as earlier he pictured cursing worn like a coat.
