Psalms 118:16 meaning and explanation
The right hand of the LORD is exalted! The right hand of the LORD performs with valor!”
Psalms 118:16, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
This verse is part of a victory song sung in the tents of the righteous after the psalmist has been rescued from enemies who surrounded him like bees. The right hand is the hand of strength and action, so to say the LORD's right hand is exalted and performs with valor is to credit the rescue entirely to God, not to human armies or princes.
