Psalms 139:16 meaning and explanation
Your eyes saw my unformed body; all my days were written in Your book and ordained for me before one of them came to be.
Psalms 139:16, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
David, speaking to the LORD, continues the meditation on his own formation that began in verse 13. The word rendered “unformed body” is the Hebrew golem, used only here in the Old Testament, and it refers to the embryo before its parts take shape.
