Psalms 139:23 meaning and explanation
Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my concerns.
Psalms 139:23, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Psalm 139 is David's prayer to the LORD, moving from awe at being fully known (verses 1 to 6) to the confidence that no place escapes God's presence (verses 7 to 12) to wonder at being formed in the womb (verses 13 to 16). After the fierce words about God's enemies in verses 19 to 22, David turns the searchlight on himself.
