Psalms 53:2 meaning and explanation
God looks down from heaven upon the sons of men to see if any understand, if any seek God.
Psalms 53:2, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Psalm 53 is a wisdom psalm, closely parallel to Psalm 14, and verse 2 follows the opening charge that the fool denies God. Here God is pictured looking down from heaven to inspect the human race, not to gain information but to render a verdict.
