Blessed be God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld from me His loving devotion!
Psalms 66:20, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
The psalmist closes a long song of praise by returning to what God has done for him personally. After summoning all the earth to praise (verses 1 to 4) and recalling Israel's passage through the sea (verse 6), he describes being tested and refined like silver, led into a net and through fire and water (verses 10 to 12).
