Psalms 71:8 meaning and explanation
My mouth is filled with Your praise and with Your splendor all day long.
Psalms 71:8, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
The psalmist is an older man, likely in the temple, who has trusted God since birth and now faces enemies who claim God has abandoned him (verses 9 to 11). In verse 8 he answers that taunt: rather than falling silent in fear, his mouth overflows with praise and with God's splendor, meaning the glory of God's character and saving acts.
