Psalms 72:20 meaning and explanation
Thus conclude the prayers of David son of Jesse.
Psalms 72:20, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
This closing line is an editorial note, not part of the prayer itself. Psalm 72 is titled "Of Solomon," yet verse 20 says the prayers of David son of Jesse are ended, which suggests the psalm was either written by David for Solomon or gathered into a collection that ends here.
