Psalms 78:48, Berean Standard Bible

Explanation preview

Psalm 78 is Asaph's long recital of Israel's history, sung so that each generation would trust God rather than repeat the failures of the past. In verses 43 to 51 the psalmist recalls the plagues God sent on Egypt, and verse 48 describes the seventh plague: hail that destroyed livestock left out in the fields.
