Psalms 94:9 meaning and explanation

He who affixed the ear, can He not hear? He who formed the eye, can He not see?

Psalms 94:9, Berean Standard Bible

Explanation preview

Psalm 94 is a lament in which the psalmist protests the cruelty of the wicked, who crush the widow, the foreigner and the fatherless and say that the LORD does not see. In verse 9 the speaker turns to address such fools directly, arguing that the God who made the ear and the eye must surely hear and see.
