Romans 15:13 meaning and explanation
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:13, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Paul writes near the end of his letter to the church in Rome, just after quoting Isaiah's promise that the Gentiles will hope in the Root of Jesse. He turns that promise into a prayer, calling God the God of hope, the source of hope rather than merely its object.
