Romans 16:12 meaning and explanation
Greet Tryphena and Tryphosa, women who have worked hard in the Lord. Greet my beloved Persis, who has worked very hard in the Lord.
Romans 16:12, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
In the closing chapter of Romans, Paul sends personal greetings to believers in Rome, most of whom he has not met. Tryphena and Tryphosa are named only here; their names suggest a pair, perhaps sisters, and Paul honors them as women who have labored in the Lord.
