Explanation preview

In this verse the woman, or perhaps a chorus of onlookers, describes a royal procession coming up from the wilderness. The Hebrew word translated "carriage" can also mean a litter or palanquin, a covered couch carried on poles, and the sixty armed men are its ceremonial guard.
