Explanation preview
In this verse the woman speaks, closing the man's long description of her in verses 1 to 15. Having called herself a garden spring and a well of fresh water, she now summons both winds, north and south, to blow on her garden so its spices spread, then invites her beloved to come in and taste its fruit.
