Song of Solomon 6:7 meaning and explanation
Your brow behind your veil is like a slice of pomegranate.
Song of Solomon 6:7, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
In this verse the groom continues his description of the bride, speaking to her directly in the poetic language of ancient Near Eastern love poetry. Having praised her eyes, hair and teeth, he now compares the curve of her brow, visible through her veil, to a slice of pomegranate, likely because its rounded shape and rich color suggest beauty and abundance.
