These were some of the descendants of Judah, Benjamin, Ephraim, and Manasseh who lived in Jerusalem:

After the exile, the Chronicler lists who came back to live in Jerusalem, and verse 3 names the tribes represented there: Judah, Benjamin, Ephraim and Manasseh. The first two belonged to the southern kingdom, the last two to the northern tribes that had been carried off by Assyria generations earlier.
