2 Chronicles 20:10, Berean Standard Bible

Explanation preview

Jehoshaphat is praying aloud in the temple courtyard, surrounded by the men, wives and children of Judah, as a vast coalition advances from Edom. In verse 10 he names the attackers, Ammon, Moab and Mount Seir, and reminds God of an old restraint: when Israel came out of Egypt, God told them not to invade these peoples (Deuteronomy 2).
