2 Chronicles 30:7 meaning and explanation
Do not be like your fathers and brothers who were unfaithful to the LORD, the God of their fathers, so that He made them an object of horror, as you can see.
2 Chronicles 30:7, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
These are the words of King Hezekiah's couriers, carrying his letters north through the former northern kingdom after Assyria had crushed it. He urges the survivors not to repeat the unfaithfulness of their fathers and brothers, whose idolatry had brought ruin, so that they became an object of horror, a byword and a warning.
