Acts 13:51 meaning and explanation
So they shook the dust off their feet in protest against them and went to Iconium.
Acts 13:51, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Paul and Barnabas had preached in the synagogue at Pisidian Antioch, where many believed, but jealous opponents stirred up persecution and drove them from the district. Shaking the dust off their feet was a gesture Jews used when returning from Gentile land, and Jesus had told His disciples to do it as a testimony against towns that rejected them.
