The temple authorities arrest Peter and John right after the healing of the lame man and Peter's sermon in Solomon's Colonnade. The priests, the captain of the temple guard and the Sadducees are disturbed because the apostles are proclaiming that in Jesus there is resurrection of the dead, a teaching the Sadducees rejected.
