Acts 7:35 meaning and explanation
This Moses, whom they had rejected with the words, ‘Who made you ruler and judge?’ is the one whom God sent to be their ruler and redeemer through the angel who appeared to him in the bush.
Acts 7:35, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Stephen, on trial before the Sanhedrin, retells Israel's history to expose a pattern: God's chosen deliverers are first rejected. Moses was pushed aside by his own people with the words "Who made you ruler and judge?" (verse 27), yet God later sent him back as ruler and redeemer through the angel in the burning bush.
