Daniel 9:14 meaning and explanation
Therefore the LORD has kept the calamity in store and brought it upon us. For the LORD our God is righteous in all He does; yet we have not obeyed His voice.

Explanation preview
Daniel is praying in exile, confessing the sins of his people as though they were his own. In verse 14 he draws a conclusion from the disaster that has already fallen on Jerusalem: the LORD watched over the calamity and brought it at the appointed time.
