Deuteronomy 31:2, Berean Standard Bible

Explanation preview

Moses speaks to the assembled Israelites on the plains of Moab, near the end of his life. He is one hundred twenty years old, and though Deuteronomy 34:7 says his eyesight and strength were not gone, he describes himself as unable to come and go, meaning he can no longer lead them in war and journeying as he once did.
