Exodus 16:34 meaning and explanation
And Aaron placed it in front of the Testimony, to be preserved just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
Exodus 16:34, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
The verse closes the manna story: Moses has told Aaron to fill a jar with an omer of manna and set it before the LORD, and Aaron does exactly that, placing it in front of the Testimony. The Testimony is the stone tablets of the covenant, kept in the ark, so the jar sits before the sign of God's own word.
