Exodus 32:10 meaning and explanation
Now leave Me alone, so that My anger may burn against them and consume them. Then I will make you into a great nation.”
Exodus 32:10, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
God has just told Moses that Israel has corrupted itself with the golden calf (verses 7 to 9), and now He speaks of destroying them and starting over through Moses. The command "leave Me alone" is striking: God invites Moses to intercede, and Moses does exactly that in the following verses, appealing to God's own promises to Abraham.
