And they will know that I am the LORD, when I disperse them among the nations and scatter them throughout the countries.

God has just announced through Ezekiel that Jerusalem's prince will be caught in a net and carried to Babylon, and that his guards and troops will be chased by the sword. Verse 15 follows that judgment: the scattering is God's own act, not merely the work of an invading army.
