Ezekiel 12:7, Berean Standard Bible

Explanation preview

Ezekiel is a priest in exile in Babylon, and God has told him to act out Jerusalem's coming fall as a living picture for the exiles watching him. In verse 7 he simply obeys: he carries his bags out by day, digs through the wall by hand at evening, and leaves at dusk with his belongings on his shoulder.
