Ezekiel 16:22, Berean Standard Bible

Explanation preview

In chapter 16 God speaks through Ezekiel to Jerusalem, portraying the city as an abandoned newborn whom he rescued, cleansed, adorned and married to himself. Verse 22 charges her with forgetting that beginning: in all her abominations and acts of prostitution, she did not remember the days of her youth, when she was naked and bare, wallowing in her own blood.
