Ezekiel 16:43 meaning and explanation
Because you did not remember the days of your youth, but enraged Me with all these things, I will surely bring your deeds down upon your own head, declares the Lord GOD. Have you not committed this lewdness on top of all your other abominations?

Ezekiel 16 is a long allegory in which the Lord, speaking through the prophet, addresses Jerusalem as an abandoned infant he rescued, raised, and married. Verse 43 comes near the end of the accusation: the city forgot the days of her youth, when she was helpless and the Lord showed her compassion, and she provoked him instead.
